TOOL & DIE MAKING

ITTI has the most contemporary tool room setup with CNC machines dedicated to making Sheet metal stamping dies, welding jigs and fixtures and FRP molds and patterns for captive usage and exports.

ITTI has “Do It Right the First Time” policy for the tooling developed. This is achieved by extensive use of 3D modeling software and CAM package like Solid Edge and Unigraphics. These software are used early on, not only in design phase but also right from the Part Price Quoting process. Judicious use of Hyperform stamping simulation software and rapid prototyping techniques further support the tool design and manufacturing process. A strict project management approach ensures tool development and delivery schedules are met. To date ITTI has designed and made various CAM dies, flexible tooling, simple progressive tools totaling more than 1200 tools.

A well trained and experienced staff and concurrent inputs from our manufacturing and QA staff helps in designing most practical and robust jigs and fixtures.

A recent entrant in composites business, ITTI has leveraged its long, diverse experience in tool and die design and manufacturing for making quality patterns and molds. The patterns are designed using our solid modeling softwares and made in our tool room set up using materials like PUR blocks, nu-wood (MDF). We make molds in epoxy, vinyl ester resin with Henkel’s Frekote® brand mold release coatings. We can even supply first 1 to 25 part quantities or can take up production as desired by our customers.
